Advancer.World MCP server
Overview
Advancer hosts a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so an AI assistant can answer questions about your programs, partners and their progress, and make changes on your behalf. It sees exactly what you would see, and can change only what your role allows.
Connect your AI client
1. Add the server to your AI client
https://advancer.world/mcp
In Claude and ChatGPT, add this address as a custom connector (ChatGPT only allows it in developer mode). Claude Code and Visual Studio Code take it as shown below. Cursor is not supported yet.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http advancer https://advancer.world/mcp
# then, inside Claude Code: /mcp, choose advancer, Authenticate
Visual Studio Code — .vscode/mcp.json
{
"servers": {
"advancer": { "type": "http", "url": "https://advancer.world/mcp" }
}
}
2. Sign in to Advancer and allow access
The first time the client connects, it opens Advancer in your browser. Sign in with your usual account, check the name of the app and allow access. From then on the client stays connected and renews its access by itself. No API key is involved.
What it can do
It can read your programs with their stages, topics and subtopics, the grid of states and transitions, and where each partner sits on it; your partners and each partner's scorecard; the people in your organization; your KPIs and the values recorded against them; the awards granted; what has happened lately and how it trends; and the work of each transition — who has answered a survey, uploaded a file or finished an initiative.
Anyone in your organization can connect and read, but only an administrator can change anything: enroll partners, resend their invitations or remove them from a program, set their position in manual-mode programs, record initiative progress and KPI values, and invite or update people. Before changing anything, the assistant reads the item, says exactly what will change and waits for you to confirm. Partner users cannot connect.
